Even with my iPhone full of apps in my pocket, on journeys i always bring a pile of pixi books. Pixi books are small size picture books for kids. They have been around since 1954 – longer than me and our children together – and they’re still going strong: in October last year the 200th series was published.
Pixi Books are squared (10 x 10 cm), most of them contain 24 pages and they include a free memo-card or sometimes a sheet of stickers – nice!
This is pixi 1034: ‘Grün grün grün sind alle meine Kleider‘ – though I like the blue clothes as well. Especially the blue alligator handpuppet
